17. There’s a rainbow always after the rain..

Last Monday, we went to the cemetery to visit my uncle (husband of my aunt - mother’s side), lola and lolo (father side). I was so excited that day because finally, I will be able to see my cousins once again and for sure when I’m with them, I’ll never get bored.

And I sure did! My 5-yr old little cousin ran to me the moment we arrived and said, “Ate oh, payat na rin ako! May buto na ako (pointing to her neck), pareho na tayo!” Haha! She thought she never have bones before because she was chubby so her bones are not showing. She also was in the mood that time so she danced to 2 whole songs non-stop! Haha! And mind you, it’s a set of different steps per song, so she didn’t really just danced and it’s like she had prepared for it. I love her to bits! <3 I was also happy to find out that my cousins were as addicted to Percy Jackson as I am! It’s really an addicting book! They even want to trade books with me but I’m not yet done reading Sea of Monsters.

^Umambon that day. So yun, there comes the rainbow!

“There’s a rainbow always after the rain..” This line from a song of South Border is the best way to represent this day. After days of boredom, drama, laziness, there came a time when my spirits were high again - and that’s when I spent the day with my cousins and relatives. I’ll never get bored when I am with them and our endless reunions and adventures together can prove that.

I hope you had fun with your relatives too this recent holiday :)
